24-hour loving care and attention. Our highly trained care team will look after your relative ensuring their individuality, dignity, privacy and rights are respected.
Because those suffering from age-related dementia require special care and attention, our Dementia care is specially adapted to their needs.
At Somerton we believe that it is of the utmost importance to kept our residents as active as possible in mind and body and to this end we have a full time activities co-ordinator on our staff.
Each day Saowalak has plenty to keep our residents busy including games, quizzes, music, film and light excercise where appropriate.
We have several live musical entertainers who visit the home for a sing and dance
.
We hold parties with entertainment for Christmas, Easter, St Patricks Day, Halloween and during the summer months we try to fit in as many Bar-B-Qs in the garden as the weather will permit.
Other regular visitors include a Pet Therapist, visist from local nursey children, hairdresser, chiropodist and optician.
